When you are designing a dialog box that is to be positioned relative to the mouse, you select the Relative Position button on the toolbar. The pointer changes its shape to a relative-position shape, and you can select the point at which the dialog box is to be placed in the application relative to the lower-left corner of the dialog box.
After selecting the location, left-click the mouse. The Relative Mouse Position dialog box is displayed confirming the location you clicked on. You can then change the relative position if you need to. The dialog box can also be displayed by simply double right-clicking on the Relative position button on the toolbar.
You specify the horizontal and vertical mouse positions through the Horizontal (X) and Vertical (Y) entry fields. These positions are relative to the lower-left corner of the dialog box; therefore, it you have a button at location 5, 5 and you want the button to appear under the mouse when the dialog box is created, you would enter -10, -10 for the values, causing the mouse pointer to appear as though it is at position 10, 10 when the dialog box is first displayed.
