Define Design
The Define Design dialog defines the project
basename, include header filename and the .IPF filename. There
are Cancel and Set buttons along the bottom of the dialog box.
- Definitions Tab
- The Definitions tab contains six tabs:
- Basename enters the basename for
the design and the include header filename. This name is
also used as the name of the design file (.Irf), the
resource files and the header include file.
- OS/2 2.x/3.x enters the
locations of your source code files
- OS/2 1.x enters the
locations of your source code files
- Windows 3.1 enters the
locations of your source code files
- Windows NT enters the
locations of your source code files
- Other enters the name for the .IPF
file which will contain the help information for the
application you are designing
Options:
- Target OS selects your target
operating system environment as OS/2 1.x, OS/2 2.x, OS/2
Warp, Windows 3.1 or Windows NT
- Save informs the IRE to save both
the include and .IPF files
- Resource format selects
the format as .RES, .RC, or Borland .RC
- Deletion can be set to None, Don't
verify or Verify on Save
- App type bases the design
on a normal Presentation Manager type of application or
on a Workplace Shell type of application
- Distribution Tab
contains two tabs: .RC/RES and Tables.
