Using Object Files from VisualAge for C++ Version 3.5 or Earlier

You can link object files created with IBM C and C++ Compilers with objects from VisualAge for C++ Version 3.5 or earlier. However, old and new object files must have been compiled with the same options:

To ensure the correct library is used, link with the /NOD linker option, and explicitly specify the new library name on the command line.
