A linear matrix is defined by the coefficients in a set of linear equations. For the two-dimensional case the matrix looks like this:
| scaleX shearY perspectiveX |
(x,y,w) * | shearX scaleY perspectiveY | = (x',y',w')
| translateX translateY homogeneous |
Where:
x' = x*scaleX + y*shearX + w*translateX y' = x*shearY + y*scaleY + w*translateY w' = x*perspectiveX + y*perspectiveY + w*homogeneous
