Graphic Button Styles
Styles Tab
- The Graphic Button dialog sets the display
type and general options of the MMPM/2 graphic button. It
also sets the text, ID symbol and value. There are Cancel and Enter buttons along the bottom of the dialog box.
Default items:
- 2 state defines a graphic
button that has two states: up and down. In the up state,
the button represents an off condition. In the
down state, the button represents an on condition.
The owner of the button will receive a notification
message GBN_BUTTONDOWN when the user presses the
button. If the final state of the button is to be down,
the owner of the button must send a message to the
button, GBM_SETSTATE to keep it depressed.
- Auto 2 state defines a
graphic button that has two states: up and down. In the
up state, the button represents an off condition.
In the down state, the button represents an on condition.
When the user presses the button in its up state,
it will show afterwards in the down state. The reverse is
true if the button was in a down state. The
owner of the button will receive a message, GBN_BUTTONDOWN,
indicating the button was pressed.
- Animation causes the
graphic button to display a series of bitmaps. The
bitmaps are displayed in a circular fashion. A message, GBM_ANIMATE,
must be sent to the button for the animation to start
and stop.
- Auto animation causes the
graphic button to display a series of bitmaps. The
bitmaps are displayed in a circular fashion. When the
user selects button, the animation starts and stops.
- Highlight bitmap displays
a different bitmap when the button is in a highlighted
(i.e. selected) state
- Disable bitmap displays a
different bitmap when the button is in a disabled (i.e.
non-selectable) state
- 3D recessed text displays
the text within a recessed rectangle giving it a
"sunken" effect
- 3D raised text displays
the text within a raised rectangle so the text appears to
be above the button
