Scanning a Design/Design Errors Dialog

You can scan for errors at any time by double left-clicking on the Scan design button on the toolbar. If any errors are detected, you will be notified through a message pop-up. Selecting the Yes button in this message box displays the Design Errors dialog box.

The Design Errors dialog box displays all of the detected errors in a list box. When you click on an item in the list, the error information is displayed in the entry fields.

To jump immediately to the problem window or dialog box, double-click on the entry in the list box. The dialog box remains displayed while you make the correction, thereby allowing you to select a different problem to correct.

The Design Errors dialog is also displayed during the resource-save stage, if you allow scanning for errors to occur. You should note that if the dialog box is displayed during this stage, the resource-script or binary files are not updated, because they would be in error. You need to make the corrections to the problems listed in the Design Errors dialog box and then save the design information once again.
