Dialog Unit Definition

The Display Units dialog defines and edits any number of displays that your program may run on. You can add a new entry to the list provided by entering the name of the device (it must be unique otherwise an existing entry will be selected), and pressing the Enter key. A message box will notify that you are adding a new entry.

After clearing the previous values from the entry fields, you can enter the values for the device. The utility DFM.Exe determines the specific factor for a given display type and resolution. This utility is found within your IRE subdirectory and can be run from any OS/2 2.x compatible system. It displays the current resolution, colors and factors within a small message window.

The Defaults push button determines the values for the device you are currently using and enters them into the entry fields for you.

There are Cancel, Save, Replace, Delete and Add buttons along the bottom of the dialog box.
