When you want to create a control, either select the desired control type from the Control menu, or click the appropriate button in the Tools window. The pointer will change its shape to a cross hair. As you move the pointer around the Desktop, you will notice coordinates changing in the status window. These are the current x,y coordinates of the pointer relative to the lower-left corner on OS/2 or the upper-left corner on Windows of the window or dialog box in which you are placing the control. These coordinates will aid you in placing the button control in the correct location in the window or dialog box.
When you have the pointer in the location where you want to place the control, left-click the mouse. The requested control will be created at the selected location, and the appropriate styles dialog box will be displayed using the values set through the Default Creation Options dialog box.
