Configure the IRE
The Configure menu allows you to set up the IRE
according to the way you work.
In the Configure menu, you will find other
menus that address specific aspects of customizing the IRE:
- Creation options defines
default control sizes, styles, and text for when a
control is added to a window or dialog box using the Default
Creation Option dialog box
- CUA compliance sets the
IBM Common User Access (CUA) compliance rules through the
CUA Compliance dialog box
- Default usage defines
default paths, grid size, and auto-label prefixes, as
well as the key combinations for the mouse using the Default
Usage dialog box
- DFM registration defines
additional display units and their corresponding dialog
box factors using the Dialog Units Definition
dialog box. It also edits existing definitions that can
be used with the Show Limits button on the toolbar.
- PMCX and temporary controls
defines custom controls that utilize the Control
Extensions (PMCX) for use in the IRE using the PMCX/Temporary
Controls Definition dialog box.
