IPFC - Environment Variables
(OS/2, Windows)
There are four environment variables that can
be used to specify the location of source files.
The IPFCIMBED environment variable is used
to search for files imbedded with the .im macro. This
variable is valid for OS/2 only.
IPFCIMBED=imbed file path (used for .im)
The IPFCARTWORK environment variable is used
to specify the location of artwork files and artlink
files. This variable is valid for OS/2 only.
IPFCARTWORK=artwork and linkfile path (used for
:artwork.)
The TMP environment variable is used to
indicate where the compiler should store the intermediate
files it creates during the compilation. This variable is
valid under OS/2 only.
TMP=temporary file path
- The fourth environment variable is unique
for each platform:
Under the OS/2 platform, the IPFC environment variable is
used to specify where the IPF support files (such as the
*.NLS files) are stored. The variable has been enhanced
to allow multiple paths. This variable is valid under
OS/2 only.
IPFC=IPFC file path (location of APSYMBOL.APS, IPF*.NLS)
Under the Windows platform, the IPF_PATH32 environment
variable is used to specify the base directory in which
the utility is installed (usually the directory above
"bin").
