I would hope tha Michal Necasek is still active on this mailing
list as he works with Scitech Software who now supports the
open watcom package. If you have an archive of this mailing
list, you might use it to locate an address for him to ask him
directly.

try compiling 16bit parts with 16bit complier (wcc.exe), 32bit parts
with 32bit one (wcc386.exe) and then link with wlink386 should work

Actually code is 32bit. Only entrypoint is 16-bit. Watcom seems to create some
thunking but exporting entry point as 32bit. According watcom changelogs some
work was done on 16<->32 thunking, but i'm not sure is problems solved.

What is your opinion on developing a version of OSFree
as a 'subsystem' to ReactOS?

The same as of running it under Windows based VPC

I think it's a great idea, because it's possible to replace
entirely Win32 graphical subsystem of ReactOS, while keeping the
compatibility with Win32 drivers.

Heh. Why? ReactOS is only kernel.

I thought ReactOS was developing an OS/2 personality. At
http://www.reactos.com/ near the bottom of the page. My problem with
ReactOS is that the whole computing experience will feel like Windoze.
I thought I had read in the past they are replicating the behavior of
Windoze down to a T. No thank you. That is why I chose
OS/2/eComStation.

From what little I've read, OpenBeOS sounds closer to the
OS/2/eComStation computing experience. I need to do more reading of
the OpenBeOS project to decide just how close it is. At this point in
time, it sounds like the best solution out there.
