based on my research, if there are programmers interested, it shouldn't be too hard
to reimplement the kernel yourself. I know very little about kernel design, but most
of the function symbols are in the kernel executable -that's plenty of info layed out.
And since this implementation doesn't have to be a mirror copy of the original, then
all that needs to be done is implement the functionality. If anybody wants a copy, I
downloaded a list of all of the api entries for the main dll's. Its most of the functions,
but I have not been able to find the c prototypes. I have also found quite a bit of info
on the kernel, but I am not sure how to organize it. BTW, is this implementation going
to be like Warp 4? Is there going to be improvements or is this just going to be an OS
with the exact same feature that will be after the initial release? Is the format for
executables going to be the standard LX format?

Correction, I have found the 'c' prototypes for some of the api functions. There is a
site that was started during the late 90's who's goal was to document all of the function.
The authors and contributers did a good job at documenting the api, however, there
is still quite a bit of work left to do. For example, the DIVE api isn't documented.

Has the OSFree forum at Yahoo Groups been abandoned? There is very
little activity there. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/osfree or even

of the forum created at the forum at http://www.os2world.com ,
there would be more space for posting and replying to posts?).

Hello, If you were to create a OS/2 subsystem on top of ReactOS, You can
make much faster progress than writing totally from scratch. It's best to build
stuff on top of others. And you folks need to figure out what makes OS/2 stands
out from other Operating Systems. or for that matter OSFree. Is it the license?
Application compatibility? security, stability? or the User Environment ?? Once
you know what makes osfree unique. Use the other operating systems code to
build on, if and only if possible and reasonable. my two cents.
