2Cristiano BTW, good starting point. Most of books miss such review.

Yuri, I am useless when it comes to kernel programming, but you know I can code
if higher level tasks become available. I am still interested in the project (though -
as usual - very limited on spare time), and am happy with the choice of the ReactOS
kernel, at least for the first approach. I think we need more organization: someone
who has a vision and is capable (and has the time) of managing the various aspects
of the project. That's not to mean that you're not up to the job, obviously; only that
it seems to me that until now the project has lacked such a figure. Bye

2Cristiano Well, I have no time for now to support project as I want because I'm still
working on my Ph.D. (Heh, seems I'll finish it until end of this year.) And I agree we
nead real leader for the project. Really, we need achieve critical point to bring live
to the project (like ReactOS does), but for this we need at least core functionolity
of the system.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/osfree Here is a forum that is for the discussion
of the developement of the clone of OS/2; OSFree. IMHO - OSFree is stagnant but
not doomed since there are those who are still trying to develope it. I am sending
IBM requests to open source OS/2. I send it via the feedback of their section on
their site. I am been told that a electronic petition should be done to send IBM.
It would show how many want OS/2 to be open sourced. In the meantime, one
should continue work on OSFree and FreePM http://frepm.sourceforge.net

Perhaps one can notify http://www.osnews.com to see or spread the word to others
so others could help with this project(?).
