As fast as will be loadable on real hardware. Of course this depend on developers activity.

We are comparing kernels to choose as osFree kernel base. Also REXX replacement
in progress (32-bit API works just fine, but with 16-bit API some small problems).
Major problem is lack of time ;(. Again, contributions are welcomed.

My idea about kernels. ReactOS will be probably used by developers who will develop Windoze
after Uncle Billy. Today all ROS authors are situated in "USD currency zone" but several L4 and
Linux developers are in "Euro currency zone". They are available, we could meet them touring
Europe etc.

Problem is following: who will develop OS/2 personality for selected kernel? Answer is
limited number of developers. To be clear: 2-3 persons. And selecting code which requires
also develop device drivers, low-level kernel parts etc isn't good idea. So, kernel will be
selected to have minimal maintance from our team.
